Pastor Beau has challenged our congregation to work on exhibiting the Fruits of the Spirit in our lives.  He chose three people to be the first participants in the Fruitcake Challenge.  Pastor Beau gave each of these three folks a fruitcake and challenged them to put it in a visible location as a reminder to look for ways to show God’s love to others by demonstrating love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control in their lives. 

Sounds like a fun challenge for them, right?  Well, guess what?!  Pretty soon it will be your turn!  This week they each will pass the fruitcake along to someone else who will keep it for a week and then pass it on.  When you receive the fruitcake we want to hear from you about what opportunities God has given you to display the Fruits of the Spirit. Submit your story using the form below.  Each entry will be posted on The Community Fruitcake blog which will track the journey of the fruitcake and what God is doing in the lives of its caretakers.  Join us for the journey of the fruitcake!
