Do you have a passion to create an atmosphere where there are no distractions that would hinder people from choosing Jesus Christ? Come join the Security team that is here to maintain the integrity of all services for Children and Adults.
Lighting Tech:
Runs lighting board during Auditorium Services
Creative Video Team:
You’ve seen the videos. Now come get behind the camera. Do you like to edit, produce, write, or come up with ideas for videos or movies? Join the team that creates just about any video you might see at Community.
Writing Team:
Help us put Community’s ongoing story in writing for use in printed materials, e-newsletters, web site, ministry tools and local publications!
Photography Team:
Do you enjoy capturing the world through a lens? Community's Photography Team records special events and all that God is doing in the life of our church. The team's creative images are used in videos, on the website, Facebook/Myspace and printed materials such as the weekly bulletin and brochures.
PR/Media Team:
The PR team gets the word out about all the exciting ministries, events and happenings at Community through building relationships with local media and generating advertising strategies. This team also facilitates Community's pages on Myspace and Facebook by posting ads, updates, event invites as well as encouraging 'conversation' through discussion boards.
Holy Grounds Coffee Bar Team:
Help us wake up Community on Sunday Mornings. We are looking for some folks with smiling faces to help us in the Coffee Bar. Come join our team and have some fun.
Coffee Shop on Wednesday Evenings:
Come help us serve our body on Wednesday evenings. No experience required, just a willing heart and a smile. We will train you!
Community Bookstore Team:
We need your help in the bookstore on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings. Don’t worry…we will train you. You can volunteer for any one hour time slot. Join us and find out what’s new in our Bookstore!
Kids Worship Techies:
Set up, run, and strike all audio and video equipment during Powerhouse services at 9:00 and 11:30
Kids leaders:
Adults and teens to lead small group times during Powerhouse as well as assist with "crowd control" etc
Shine Groups:
Teachers for 10:15 each Sunday, Assistant to Shine Group Leader
Kids Church Setup:
Men Needed! Our growing children's ministry needs men to help set up and tear down staging and props in our gym. If you are willing to contribute 30 minutes of your week to the children please sign up.
MVP-Ministry Volunteer Partners:
Join us if you want to help keep Community Beautiful. Set-up, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Grounds. We also need drivers CDL Licensed Drivers Class B, S & P Endorsements, Air Brakes.
The Set-up Volunteer Team:
A group of volunteers that set up the classrooms for Sunday morning small groups. They meet on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. and are done in time for attend the 9:00 a.m. worship service.
Homebound Ministry Team: If you love the Lord and you love people, you are qualified for this team. We ask team members to make a once a week contact, like a phone call, and a once a month visit with those in our fellowship who are in need of personal touch from the ‘outside world’.
Teen Small Group Leaders:
We are in need of adult leaders who want to impact the lives of students for Christ as adult encourages (to get to know, love, and care for students), facilitators (to take pre-printed questions), and teachers (to prepare for and teach bible study/small group curriculum).
Student Ministries Operations:
Set-up, Building and Equipment Maintenance, A / V Techs, Sound and Lighting Engineers, Video Game Techs, Main Event Service Coordinators.
Hospital Visitation Team:
Do you have a heart for hurting people? Can you go with a Pastor or another volunteer to visit someone in the hospital once a week or once every other week? If your answer is ‘Yes’, then this is the opportunity for you.
Sunday Morning Breakfast Team:
We are looking for folks that would like to help us on Sunday morning with the 8:15 breakfast. Come join our team!
Feed My Sheep Team:
We are looking for people that want to help provide food for church families during times of special needs.
