What is Podcasting?
Simply put, podcasting is radio on demand. You enter the podcast links into your favorite media player or software, and the programs are automatically downloaded to your system for you. Think of it as TiVo for your iPod, or podcasting PC software.
You can download whichever sermons you want and listen to it whenever and wherever you want. You will have access to the last two sermon series in addition to those you have already downloaded before they were removed from the podcast directory.
To Get Started With A Podcasting Download:
To begin, you will need a podcast reader such as iTunes or Juice. If you would rather not install any software onto your computer, you can try one of many web-based podcatchers such as Yahoo or Podnova. Once you have a podcatcher you will need to subscribe to the podcast.
If you are using iTunes, you can simply click on the iTunes icon above and iTunes will automatically open up to our podcast page. From there you can subscribe to our podcast and download Beau's weekly message automatically.
If you are using Juice or another podcatching program (including web-based podcatchers) you can subscribe to our Podcasting feed by copying the url into your reader. To subscribe to the podcast from a Windows based PC, right-click on the Podcast Icon above and choose "Copy Shortcut". Switch to your reader and follow the menus to add the channel.
Once the message is downloaded you can then listen to it directly on your computer or transfer it over to your iPod (or other portable media player) to listen on the go.
