Sunday morning small groups - 9:30AM

Inquiring Minds In The Word - (9:50AM)Room E101

Leader: Brent Bridgeman

We are a diverse, both in age and background, group of believers who want to learn as much as we can about Jesus, so we can become more like Him. We study the Bible so that all we discuss is based on God's Word and not man's. We like to have fun in our meetings, and we care about each other and pray for each other. All are welcome, from new Christians to mature Christians.

Couples' Group: Created and Recreated Families - Room C208
Leaders: Jennifer & Clay Staples, Amanda Harmsen

Our class consists of nuclear and blended families with parents ages ranges from 30 – 50 or so and children of ALL ages.  We try to plan get-togethers away from church such as dinner out, shooting skeet, pool parties, etc. at least once per quarter and yearly Christmas parties.  Our studies are mainly made of up short 10-15 minutes videos with discussions afterwards.  We are real people with real problems and provide a safe environment in which we all feel comfortable sharing intimate details of our lives when we choose to do so.  We rarely do studies that require time outside of church because we all have families and have limited time.  Most of us do some type of quiet time at home during the week.  Our group has several more mature Christians that provide wisdom and leadership and some newer Christians that provide enthusiasm and encouragement.

Couples' Group: The Marriage Builder - Room E105

Leaders: Allen & Sabrena Stolze

Psychologist Larry Crabb cuts to the heart of the biblical view of marriage: the 'one-flesh' relationship. He argues convincingly that the deepest needs of human personality -- security and significance -- ultimately cannot be satisfied by a marriage partner. We need to turn to the Lord, rather than our spouse, to satisfy our needs. This frees both partners for 'soul oneness,' a commitment to minister to our spouse's needs rather than manipulating them to meet our own needs. The Marriage Builder also identifies three building blocks essential to constructing marriage: the grace of God, true marriage commitment, and acceptance of one's mate.

Men's Group: The Builders - Room E205

Leader: Ron Driver

A group of men, both married and single, that primarily do topical Bible Studies with a strong focus on individual spiritual growth and change. The group participate in outreach events together and plan on doing more in the future.

Women's Group: Girls Gone Child - Room B155 (Library)
Leader: D'Anna Entrekin
Current Study: Give Them Grace by Elyse Fitzpatrick & Jessica Thompson

A group for moms of young children – support, encouragement, and some humor for a rewarding and challenging season of life. Pursuing our desire to become women of the Word and women who pray, so that His voice may lead us as we grow with grace.

We lift prayers and praises at the beginning of each class - sometimes taking up the whole hour! Fellowships are common throughout the year - picnics, covered dish at the church, Christmas party, and many go to eat together after class on Sunday. We are a warm, welcoming group who laugh & cry together, walking together through good & bad times, loving and praising the Lord through it all.
